Visit of the Prime Minister and confirmation of the I-SITE FUTURE project.

March2022

On Thursday 10 March, during a visit to the Marne-la-Vallée campus of Université Gustave Eiffel, the Prime Minister, Jean Castex, and the Minister for Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Frédérique Vidal, unveiled the projects that have received confirmation of the I-SITE label, including the I-SITE FUTURE project.

Led by Université Gustave Eiffel, in partnership with École des Ponts ParisTech, the FUTURE project, built in response to the call for Investment in the Future Projects (PIA 2) and awarded the I-SITE (Initiative Science - Innovation - Territory - Economy) label in 2017, has reached the end of its probationary period in 2021.

The decision to make the project permanent underlines the importance and relevance of the creation of Université Gustave Eiffel, a unique institution in France resulting from the merger of a university and a research organisation, and combining a school of architecture and three engineering schools.

It is also a strong recognition of the actions carried out in terms of excellent academic research, educational innovations and international influence on the theme of the cities and territories of tomorrow.

Confirmation of the I-SITE label now gives Université Gustave Eiffel the opportunity to pursue and develop its research, training and public policy support missions, in conjunction with its partners.
